Larry King

Larry King hosts Saturday and Sunday afternoons on WCRB. Larry grew up just outside of New York City, and as a child, he listened to and was inspired by the stations and on-air personalities heard on New York radio. He studied trumpet, nurtured an interest in both classical and jazz, and received the Lincoln Center Student Award his senior year in high school. It was during his junior year in college when Larry became involved with his college’s radio station. This ultimately led to a career in radio on Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod and Boston. He is currently the evening announcer and host on the nationally syndicated World Classical Network. Larry has a bachelor’s degree in both music and speech, teaches several adult education courses and shares his passion and love of classical music. He enjoys listening to orchestral music, chamber music, jazz, practicing yoga and living in a coastal community.
