Born in the city of Breslau in 1854, Prussian composer Moritz Moszkowski has since fallen out of familiarity. Leading the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, conductor Martin West aims to re-introduce audiences to the genius of Moszkowski through a program reflecting the composer’s mastery of Spanish, German, and French musical styles.
