Japanese composer, conductor, and pianist Joe Hisaishi – known for scoring Studio Ghibli films – makes his Boston Symphony Orchestra debut at Tanglewood, conducting his own compositions as well as Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with soloist Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
