The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced its next summer season in the Berkshires, highlighted by Puccini's "Tosca," a new concerto by John Williams, and a celebration of Keith Lockhart's 30th anniversary as Boston Pops Conductor.

In an encore broadcast, Music Director Andris Nelsons leads the Boston Symphony in dazzling works by Liszt, Wagner, and Anna Clyne, culminating in Scriabin's "Prometheus, Poem of Fire," with pianist Yefim Bronfman.

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Serge Koussevitzky, Andris Nelsons leads a concert that includes Koussevitzky’s Double Bass Concerto, with soloist Edwin Barker, as well as spectacular works by Steven Mackey, Sibelius, and Scriabin.

In an encore Boston Symphony broadcast, Philippe Jordan makes his BSO debut conducting an all-Russian program of Borodin, a suite from Prokofiev’s "Romeo and Juliet," and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with soloist Yefim Bronfman.

In an encore broadcast from the 2021 Tanglewood season, Yefim Bronfman returns to the Berkshires as the soloist in Beethoven’s impassioned Piano Concerto No. 3, and Andris Nelsons conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra in a rhapsodic work by Iman Habibi.
