In an encore broadcast from the 2023 Tanglewood season, Thomas Wilkins leads the BSO at Tanglewood, with music by Duke Ellington, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Jeff Midkiff is the soloist in his own Mandolin Concerto "From the Blue Ridge."

On WCRB In Concert with the Boston Pops, trumpeter Byron Stripling explores a kaleidoscope of legendary jazz voices, from Louis Armstrong to Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis.

The BSO's next season at Symphony Hall is anchored by Composer Chair Carlos Simon, major undertakings in works by Mahler, Beethoven, and Shostakovich with Music Director Andris Nelsons, and much, much more.

Soprano Nicole Cabell and pianist Aaron Diehl take center stage with the BSO in an all-American program, featuring a new piece by Carlos Simon and works by Barber, Ellington, and Gershwin, all led by Andris Nelsons.

On WCRB In Concert with the Boston Pops, pianist Lara Downes and actor/singer Brian Stokes Mitchell join for an evening of music dedicated to the musical legacy of Duke Ellington, plus the world premiere of a concerto built on music by Billy Strayhorn, all conducted by Keith Lockhart.

The celebrated electric bassist is the soloist in his own concerto, "La Lección Tres," and the BSO's Thomas Wilkins conducts music from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's "Hiawatha" and Duke Ellington’s "The River."
